COMMISSIONS
At this time I am no longer
accepting commissions. I am currently working from a wait list. I contact those on my list when I have made a bow that matches their criteria.
BOWS ON APPROVAL
Bows can be acquired
for a trial period of 10 days. During this period there is no obligation to
buy. If no purchase ensues then the bows must be back in my possession no later
than the second working day following this period. If the bows are not returned
by then they will be considered sold and the full listed value will be charged
to your account.
I will require
security information from you in the form of credit card number, permanent
address where you live, home and work numbers and an e-mail address. I will
also need your signature on a Loan Approval Agreement prior to shipping.
I only send bows on approval
to people that are known to the musical community and only at my discretion. I do
not ship to college dorms, P.O. Boxes or outside of the continental United
States, nor do I ship bows during the holiday season in December or
during the hottest weeks of the summer.
Bows are shipped
exclusive by FedEx. The 10 day trial period begins upon your receipt. Return
shipments can be made by either by FedEx or UPS. Do not use the US Postal
System.
These conditions are understood to be
accepted by you when placing your request for a trial period.
SHIPPING CHARGES
There is a nominal up-front
shipping charge for each trail shipment. If you decide to purchase a bow the
shipping fee will be deducted from the final sales price. The cost of return
shipping and insurance is your responsibility.
INSURANCE
It is important to remember
that you assume full responsibility for the condition of the bows while they
are in your possession and until the moment they are returned to my company. If
the bows are returned damaged for any reason whatsoever you agree to pay for
the cost of repairs including depreciation in value.
It is wise to check with
your insurance carrier to see if they provide coverage for instruments sent to
you on approval. Your loan agreement is proof of value. It is also highly
suggested that you purchase insurance coverage while the bows are in return
shipment.
FOREIGN SALES
Because of exchange rate fluctuations,
please make all payments in U.S. dollars. Any exchange rate charges will be
billed to the buyer. Any brokerage fees, taxes and duties will be the responsibility
of the buyer. On the return of merchandise from a foreign country, including
Canada, I will not be responsible for any fees which may be incurred regardless
of the reason for return.
PAYMENTS
Payment can be made by
cash, check, bank-to-bank transfer, credit cards or combinations thereof. I
charge a 2.5% surcharge for the use of credit cards. I charge a $25 processing fee for checks returned
for insufficient funds.
TAXES
A 6 % sales tax will
be added to bows purchased in or shipped to any Virginia address. Purchasers
entitled to sales tax exemptions must file applicable forms with my business
prior to sale. I comply with all sales tax laws. Please don't ask me to be dishonest.
PRIVACY
All information that I
receive from you is held in confidence, and is not released to anyone outside
my business, except as directed by you, or as required by law. In order to
guard your nonpublic personal information, I maintain physical, electronic, and
procedural safeguards that comply with professional standards.
